Re: Rain sensors

I sometimes fine mine too sensitive! You might or might not be aware, but you can adjust the sensitivity on the stalk. There's like a wheel you can turn.

If that don't work is the screen clean where the sensor is?

Re: 1.0 115ps Boost issue?

Are there any whistling noises, louder than the usual? Could be a boost leak somewhere, but I'd expect that to bring on some sort of warning light.

I'd take it back to the dealer and get them to investigate.

Re: Perfomance Tuning

According to celtic tuning the 1.3 CDTi 73bhp (75ps) engine remaps to about 110-115bhp and 184lb-ft torque. Same for the 93bhp (95ps). Guessing they must be mechanically identical engines, just one is restricted a bit more than the other from the factory. Worth doing just for the torque gain in fair...

Re: Error free LEDs???

I tried that but it soon got boring having to clear the message every time I got in the car, so mine got taken out. Plus I think when MOT is due it wouldn't pass if there are any error messages now?

Let me know if the euro carparts ones work!

Re: Squeaky Brakes!!!

Yeah, stuff like that I'd rather do myself anyway as I know it's done right! Can take your time and proper clean them out. Dealers usually want you in/out as quickly as they can, especially if it's a warranty job and they're not making money off it. A clean to them will prob just be a quick blow dow...

Re: Error free LEDs???

I had some old w5w LED bulbs that I tried on my Corsa from a previous car but got the same error. Apparently the Corsa is very sensitive to bulb changes, even 'error free' ones sometimes bring up an error. Re: Second Service Prices?

Yeah, I don't think mine will be going back to a main dealer for its 3rd service and MOT when it's due. Not unless they can budge on price and come down to something like what an independant garage could offer. So long as you have service history it won't really affect the value of the car come trad...

Re: Handbrake recall...

I've just checked the My Vauxhall App and it's not coming up with any recalls for mine, on late 65 plate. What year is yours? My car was also in for a service around October/November time last year and nothing was mentioned then. I have read people have had issues with the handbrake holding on hills...

Re: Retrofit Progress Thread (R3>R4)

Yeah, just had a look on eBay and there is one up for about £115 so it's not too excessive. If it costs £50-£80 for the custom loom and having it programmed in it's still better value than going aftermarket. From what I've seen the aftermarket wiring kit for these along with the fascia is in excess ...

Re: Retrofit Progress Thread (R3>R4)

Been following this on the facebook Corsa E | Owners Club.

Looks like an interesting project. For me though it would have to be more cost effective then just going for an aftermarket headunit? The only gripe I have with my R3 is not having the mirror link for things like navigation.
