Re: Automatic gearbox judder

Hi, mine suffers with the same problem but only when it’s in drive. It’s like it’s confused and can’t decide whether it’s stopping or going? The way I get round the problem is Bypass D & select ‘M1’

Hope it helps

Just remember slow & steady wins the race, no one is going to die on your watch! 😂

Re: Radiator fan running all the time

Hi, This problem happened On 2x of my Corsa D‘s. It was the power resister for the radiator fan, the problem started with the fan either off or full speed, then after a while it was on all the time when the engine was running.

Hopefully it helps

Re: 8-V spoke wheels touching plastic

I have the same wheels (factory fit) I’m assuming the steering rack would be different, the turning circle is horrific. It’s like turning the titanic half the time.

Re: Car Service

If you prefer to use the genuine oil, could buy the GM Dexos2 oil on eBay (around £20-25) and say to the mechanic to use that instead. Probably be cheaper than the garage supplying the oil?
As mentioned already, you’re probably good for up too 20k between service.

Re: Handbrake Doing What it Wants? This a Common Issue?

Happened to me several times in several Corsa’s over the years. It seems to catch between cogs then drops down.
Only advice I’d give is when you apply the handbrake just crank it up, don’t hold the button in. 👍🏼

New Corsa F Driven

One of the perks of being a driving instructor, once the pupil passes you can ask to see their new car. So today my mobility/DLA customer picked up his keys to his shiny new 1.2T Auto elite nav premium. Apparently the first one in Glasgow. First impression its a lot quicker off the mark, nicely fini...

I’ll keep my ‘66’ Plate thanks

As I’m waiting on my own Corsa being serviced I’ve had a look around the showroom. In amongst the crossland x’s (which I think they’re really trying to push sales of them) I had a look at a new Corsa SE, I know it will be replaced soon but the new ones now feel a cheap car. Compared to a year old SE...
