Re: Handbrake Doing What it Wants? This a Common Issue?

Happened to me several times in several Corsa’s over the years. It seems to catch between cogs then drops down.
Only advice I’d give is when you apply the handbrake just crank it up, don’t hold the button in. 👍🏼

New Corsa F Driven

One of the perks of being a driving instructor, once the pupil passes you can ask to see their new car. So today my mobility/DLA customer picked up his keys to his shiny new 1.2T Auto elite nav premium. Apparently the first one in Glasgow. First impression its a lot quicker off the mark, nicely fini...

I’ll keep my ‘66’ Plate thanks

As I’m waiting on my own Corsa being serviced I’ve had a look around the showroom. In amongst the crossland x’s (which I think they’re really trying to push sales of them) I had a look at a new Corsa SE, I know it will be replaced soon but the new ones now feel a cheap car. Compared to a year old SE...

Re: Bi-Xenon upgrade headlights

I think the biggest problem would be power supply, I’ve got the option on my SE and they are a massive difference. They are more like standard lights not like the Corsa D where they would turn etc. You have to manually adjust the height, no headlamp washer jets and the corner lighting is another bul...

Re: new car

The valeters at Mr Clark’s are a bit heavy handed with the dash sheen, APC and a microfibre cloth should get that sorted. I’ve got the exact one but in ‘flip chip silver’ biggest regrets was the colour choice and not ticking the wheel & matrix headlight options. Standard headlights are pants but a a...

Ohh! A 1.4 turbo elite nav? Very nice 👍🏼 You’ll feel a massive difference between power, smoothness and the alloys that’s a complete ball ache to clean!

Re: Corsa 2016 fuel consumption question

My 1.4 Auto is a used as a tuition vehicle so it’s constantly pulling up and setting off, pupils going from gas straight into the brake, bad traffic etc. I normally achieve 30-32mpg. Not brilliant but not the worst I’ve had.

Leather Steering Wheel Blistering

Hi folks, Just to see if anyone else has had a problem with the leather finish blistering? (Btw, it’s not blistering with the heat from the heated wheel, i think it’s the least heated wheel ever!) It is a tuition vehicle so lots of people with lots of lotions, potions and chemicals on their hands ha...

Re: screw in tyre

Not a text book answer but I’ve had to do it when penny pinching times, or had a newish tyre. Screw it in the rest if it’s ticking and put a can of ‘holts tyre weld’ from any high street supermarket for £6ish. 👍🏼 (Done at own risk)
