Re: Automatic gearbox judder

A few people with automatics on this forum have noticed this. It's only happened half a dozen times or so in the 18 months I've had my car, either when I've slowed down at a roundabout or when I've been manoeuvring in a car park. It's only been for a few seconds at a time and stops when I take my fo...

Re: Huawei P20 Android Auto

I've just bought a Huawei P Smart (nice phone, daft name) which connects to my car with no problems. If you Google Huawei and Android Auto it's clear that there has been an issue with their phones for a couple of years and it's only now that Huawei are getting their act together and fixing it. It's ...

Re: Speedo and display disappearing ‘common fault’?

The speedo on my Corsa (66 plate) would not budge from zero once, about a month after I bought the car. Luckily I was leaving a supermarket car park at the time so I drove back, parked up again and waited 5 minutes before firing up the car again. Never happened again since.

Re: Maps

Before you go to the expense of upgrading your phone, I would check the cable you are using to connect the phone to the car. Use the cable that came with the phone if you can, as it's a bit finicky otherwise.

Very smart. Can't be many SEs around with all of those options.

Re: Huawei P20 Android Auto

It's probably the quality of the cable that you use to connect the phone to the car that you need to watch rather than the phone itself. It's best to use the cable that comes with the phone and not a pound shop cheapie.

Re: Now looking to buy a new 2018 Corsa 1:4. SE

The displayed mpg is a couple of miles out from the figures I get from the Fuelly mileage tracker. The warmer weather obviously helps. 50 is impressive though - the best I've managed to date is about 49, cruising at 60 or so.

Re: New Owner - who is Baffled

Mine has the mpg etc. What I meant is there are 3 menus shown in the owner's manual (trip/fuel info, vehicle info, and eco info). Mine only has the first 2 menus, not the third.

Re: New Owner - who is Baffled

Do you mean the Eco information (fuel economy etc). My SE automatic doesn't have this either so i suspect it's restricted to certain trim levels.

Re: USB not working on 67 plate Corsa Energy

This cable works fine with my Moto G phone. Looks quite smart as well. They may do the same for other phones too.
