I have this engine and had no recall for the gearbox. Sometimes for non urgent stuff they wait until the car goes in for a service to carry out works. My gearbox is clunky and noisy and I'm nearing a mere 11k. She's a 65 plate.

Could people with 5dr Es please check their rear doors for the child lock switch? I only have it on the driver's side rear door, not the passenger's side! I've only just noticed today when switching the child seat. Thanks guys and gals!

I had a 58 plate Corsa that didn't even have the winter pack and I could open and close the windows via the key fob! The Ibiza I had after that could open/close windows via the fob too. I guess it's a cost saving measure. It's lovely to have if it starts raining and you 've left your windows open so...

I went with 'shiny rock', now named shiny grey I believe. It looks very dirty very quickly, in hindsight I should have gone for white like my previous car as no matter how dirty she was the white always shone through!
