Re: Spark plugs

The yellow/green is a wet paste. From reading up it can be applied to help contacts and stop corrosion. Plan is to change them soon. Just not sure if ngk would be a better choice over the champions

Re: Spark plugs

http://www.sparkplug-crossreference.com/convert/CHAMP_PN/RC10MCC You could change it for a NGK ZFR6VG. Also you should watch that corrosion on the top of the spark plug. It's very likely from the coilpack, and when that corrodes it makes the engine misfire. So you should consider replacing the coil...

Spark plugs

Just looking at an oil change and possibly new plugs. Car is a MY15 1.4 na with 37k on clock. Just taken a plug out and got a shock. Champion plugs!!! Would I be best putting same back in or going for ngk/Bosch equivalents?

Re: Engine juddering

I assume your talking about plugs on 3rd service. A coil pack should last longer. I have checked I Wilson’s in Scunthorpe didn’t do my plugs at 3rd service.

Not returning there in the future anyway but will be getting them changed on next service.

Re: Changing colour of alloys

I’ve already had a sensor replaced. Went for new tyres and garage broke one. They replaced it at no cost to me but I would make sure you tell them you have sensors and that they stand off the inside of the rim. That way if they damage them then I would hope they would replace them FOC

Re: Metallic Rattle Under Load

Got the same with a 1.4na had water pump, alternator, crankshaft seal and all tensioners changed still the same. Dealer and Vx don’t want to know. Told me it’s normal they have had the same in loads of engines.

Re: Really need some help.

I would say coil pack. I have a 1.4na and I’ve had one fitted. I didn’t have any lights but the dealer picked up on a diagnostic while in for service
