Re: Reset service indicator

S89 is "service soon" so presumably the dealer has to reset that code and resetting oil life won't do it.

Re: Reset service indicator

Is it a Corsa E or is it a 54 plate? Earliest would be 64 plate.

Corsa E service nag can be cancelled each time by briefly pressing in the reset button on the end of the LH indicator stalk, or reset completely by a long hold of that button whilst displaying Oil Life %.

Re: My second Corsa

Very expensive upgrade, especially 5 stud hubs and presumably suspension to match for a 1litre.

Re: 66 plate 1.4 Sting (9,000 miles and 49% fuel left - normal?)

If it was 0% at 10 months I would rather full service it at 10 months. If driving is so hard it gets to 0% at 6 or 7 months then I might agree.
It has never happened to me or many other people reporting here on the relevant threads so it's mostly hypothetical.

Re: 66 plate 1.4 Sting (9,000 miles and 49% fuel left - normal?)

It's not an service indicator, it's an oil change indicator. I know what you mean but I seem to remember it nagging me to get a "service" when it got below 3% or so. Maybe the DK ones are different. But anyway let's say it gets to 0% at 10 months. You change the oil only. At 12 months a service is ...

Re: 6 speed automatic transmission

There must be some programming to prevent accelerator and brake being applied together because I have had an Astra auto that cut out completely when I tried to dry off brakes after going through flood water. It just cut out. Verboten! I suspect it is a micro version of the same control mechanism. Th...

Re: Second Service Prices?

My brother in Yorkshire now sends his out of warranty Freelander to an indy garage where they take off the wheels and clean out the brakes and still charge £100 less for the service.

Re: Interior lights Fuse Box

Look in the manual around page 208-210

You wont find interior lights listed. It may be one of the "body modules " fuses 5 to 12 in the glove box fusebox. The lights are fed from several sources like manual switch, unlocking doors etc so it is powered from the computer IMHO.
