Re: Oil life

Thanks guys! I'm not going to reset it, but I will phone the garage tomorrow to see if they can do it earlier. Had enough scares this week as it is. A few weeks back I got my road tax reminder through and totally forgot to do it until I got a final reminder in the post yesterday! The car isn't a yea...

Re: Oil life

I haven't checked it lately, but the percentage relates to the quality of oil rather than quantity. It's down to 4% today. Like you, this is the first car I've ever had the oil life readout in. It's made me a little paranoid now it's got so low.

Oil life

So, last week I booked my car in for her first service which they can't do until 2nd Nov. Yesterday the oil life hit 5% and tells me 'change engine oil soon' every time I start the car and I clear it by pressing the button on the end if the stalk. If the level gets almost to zero, will the message s...

That's a thought. However, it hasn't done it today despite opening the window right down and closing again several times.

Re: Noisy electric window

I haven't tried anything yet. It sounds more like something rubbing down inside the door rather than the sides.

Noisy electric window

Noticed the other day that the drivers window makes a horrid rubbing sound when the window winds down. She's booked in for her first service on 2nd Nov so I'll ask them to check it out as well as the driver's seat that keeps working its way down after adjusting. Anyone else have noisy windows?

Re: 2016 corsa Design and intellilink DAB

Blimey! I'm glad I didn't wait for the R4.0 version - I didn't know about it until after I ordered mine. Mine is an R3.0 and the fact that it had DAB was a big plus for my hubby. I would think it's the expense of switching all the wrongly fitted units that would be the issue, rather than how quick a...

Re: MY2016/2017 Heated Steering Wheel issue

Mine is a 65 plate MY16. I used the heated wheel last winter and found it quite acceptable. I have a circulation problem so one of the reasons I got the car was because of the heated wheel! It's my little bit of luxury! The seats, however, are either bum burning or off! :D

Re: She's at it again!

Mine did that several times and when they investigated, one of the battery terminals was loose.
