13K miles on the 1.0T, 113PS engine. Early on in its life it lost coolant but diagnosed with a loose connection. First oil change (12.5K!) dealership informed me the coolant leak was still an issue and Vauxhall was redesigning a part. In the meantime I am watching the coolant level like a hawk. Does anybody have any more information?

Hopefully you will become more confident once the level shows steady. I once had a new rad as a free recall which is what would happen if they have a design defect. Loose connections happen I guess. At least modern hoses seem to last a lot longer than 30 years ago.
Edit:
Just to add to that I have had Vauxhalls all my life. In the last 5 years if there was any loss of coolant level I would add pure antifreeze. At the same time I bought the litre of Antifreeze from the dealer I bought a litre of oil. After that 5 years I still have half a litre of Antifreeze left and I haven't opened the oil yet. That's how liquid tight my Vauxhalls have been.
