Vxownertelford, it may be worth contacting Vx UK and Motorcodes the ombudsman if it's being repaired. CAB/ Trading Standards another. Court may be costly and selling cheaper than court. I paid cash for mine and additionally I'd also missed out on the new consumer rights by a matter of months. Had I paid by finance or credit card I may have had extra recourse. Tip, just by paying as much as ÂŁ1 with a credit card on the deposit involves the card company to help out.

Sorry to hear everyone's problems. It's as if the public are doing their testing. I sold mine when she was repaired. She had a cylinder head gasket go, timing chain cover with a hairline crack, oil pump and heat exchanger gaskets go. I've now got a Japanese model.

Sorry to hear of people having yet more problems. I lost faith in Vauxhall a while back. Engine problem after another. In my opinion they could have just exchanged the car, kept face and be of little cost to the dealership and keep the customers brand loyalty. In the end I sold her to purchase a brand new Japanese car. Not a single problem.

I chose the 1.0T over the 1.4T falling for the technicality advertising blurb.
It's not like running in an engine from 80 years ago but equally definitely don't speed. Drive normally and most should be fine. say 'most' as mine kept on giving no end of problems.
Japanese car I have now never had a problem.
