The clutch pedal rubber pad or rather something under the rubber pad feels loose. Is it easy to fix?

The pads slip over the metal plate there shouldn't be anything loose underneath, check to see if the rubber pad edges are clipped over the edge of the metal plate.

SE NAV, you were correct, the pad had come off the lower left corner. All good now many thanks... again.

Actually, even though I refitted the pad, the pedal still feels the same. I think its something to do with the where it attaches to the mechanism that operates the clutch. It may just need grease.
