Hello,
I have a 2016 Corsa E 1.4 90hp (petrol).
My starter seems to turn slowly when starting (it turns slowly at first, then turns faster).
If I need to replace it, is there a special procedure?
Thank's

Hi, my wife has same Corsa ,15 plate , we changed starter 6 months ago as started to slow cranking and day by day was even worst, there's no really special procedures just make sure that you have proper one as it is different for start stop and without this system, also one of the mounting screws is difficult to get out and back in, hopefully it will help you
Regards

Hi, I have a 2015 corsa se Auto 1.4, from new the starter has always turned very slowly at first, I have only done just over 11,000 and had several batteries which really did not make much difference. Only do short journeys so regularly charge battery, I used to leave the ignition for 3 or 4 seconds till fuel pump charged, then start but was still slow, but now I just turn on and go to start straight away and I manage to catch it, so I am sure it’s the starter. It sounds like others are having problems, another person has changed starter but did not say if it cured the problem, as a new starter costs a bob or two so don’t want to spend out if it’s not going to cure it. I will say it’s never let me down, but it’s so slow makes you think battery is going flat but it’s not, anyone else having a problem and has cured it.
