Hello everybody,

I am a proud owner of CORSA E 2015 1.3 CDTI
But I have one big problem.
I have to hold the steering wheel to the right for my car to go in a straight line.
If I take my hands off the wheel it pulls to the left badly.
My tyre pressures, wheel balancing, wheel alignment have all been checked.
Any ideas guys?

If everything else has been checked , id be looking at the brakes sticking. Check if one wheel feels hotter than the others after driving.

What also happened to me once, steering will randomly seem to jam for
an moment, and the steering wheel became suddenly heavy.
After I turned off and started the car again everything returned to normal.
A really bizarre feeling that you can't move the steering wheel in any direction.

Thats incredibly dangerous! Get the car to a garage to investigate asap.

It could be steering rack, tie rod arms, wishbones, power steering.....it needs to be looked at.

Had it ever been in an accident?

I already took the car to the mechanic. He told me that wheel adjustment is probably a problem. What I later found that it is not. I'll try again in another garage. I noticed on the internet that there are more people with a problem that is identical to mine.
The car was not in an accident (at least as far as I could check).
If anyone else has a similar problem I would love to get in touch here.

Electric power steering on the E meaning a motor powers the rack instead of hydraulics so the problem could be in that area...

Hello, I have the same problem with Corsa 2016 1.4 .
Everything possible was checked but it's still pulling on the left. I have a 215/45/R17 tyres for summer and R15 wheels for winter. When I put winter tyres pulling was not so intense but it's still there.
Which dimensions of tyres do you have?
