I find it very petty that they did not light up the mirror controls on the door,maybe it's because they don't want you adjusting on the move in the dark

You should have heard what I had to say about my Mazda pickup when I first drove it at night, finding that not only were the door mirror controls not backlit but neither were any of the power window, door locks, fog lamp, high beam adjust or free wheel hub buttons. I was not impressed. My previous Mitsubishi had all its switches backlit as well as having heated mirrors and headlamp washers. I guess the Mazda was £5K cheaper than the Mitsubishi so some corners had to be cut. Odd how you suddenly miss these little things once you have had a car with them on. 10 years on all the heater control backlighting has failed too so I have nothing backlit other than the speedo. :-(

I had a Japanese import mitsubish and everything was backlit including the ignition barrel so you could see where to put the key, and that was a 1993 car
