mine of the D shattered several years ago, due to neighbour kids kicking stones... was an absolute pain trying to clear the glass out of the boot lid, Autoglass replaced it, and did clear most away but we still find the odd piece from time to time, so bits must get caught up somewhere?
Get as much out as possible, as at one pint we had a piece jam the locking mechanism, and that was a right PITA to sort, as couldn't open the boot had to climb through remove all the trim and remove the mechanism.
