.. I simply don't have enough time to drive it as much as I want to! God damn 10 hour days ;)

But, very brief review...

Since 28th January, I've managed to drive it 1500+ miles so far. My personal favourite experience, for a little 1.0l turbo hatchback is- Driving 9-, err...70..mph along the M4 at 11pm. Cruise control, feel absolutely no strain on the engine.. Gave the girlfriend a call on the hands free, she said it was actually clearer than if I was holding the phone to my ear!

Having also driven the Corsa D, I cannot praise Vauxhall enough for this beeeaaaaauuut of a car. Simply remastered to what a Corsa should be. Practical, economical, and most importantly fun. Can also quite happily pull away with 4 hefty guys in 6th gear on the motorway. To top it off, it looks sexy as hell too :p

- I personally think it would be incredible if we can get this forum off to the flying start it deserves. Arrange some meets, become a little Corsa family!

I'd be quite interested to find out which towns you all live in, if you wouldn't mind?

-- Peace!

That 1.0l 115ps engine sounds fab! I bought my Ibiza for the 1.2tsi 105ps engine, so when I get my Corsa it will be that 1.0l engine for me too. I felt the same as you when I traded the Corsa for the Ibiza. That extra turbo power is awesome! It feels as fast as the 1.6l Escort that I had years ago. Economy, £30 road tax is also a win win! What mpg are you getting from your Corsa?

I tend to have quite a heavy foot, but average is 45mpg over the past 900 miles apparently! Driving around town, I typically do about 60mpg :)

The only problem with the new Corsa LE is the fact I still haven't got mine!!! ;-)

Good to hear that you are enjoying yours. I won't be going that fast in mine, too mindful of my licence these days and the fact I'm an old fart. Your mpg sound great despite the lead foot though :)

The 3 door LE is a very attractive little car. I'm in my late 40's and I still found the Corsa more attractive than the Polo or Fabia which look a little boring in comparison. Shame they don't offer a mildly tuned 1.6T though, say 150 hp as there seems to be a big jump between the current top of the range 115ps 1.0T and the 200+ hp 1.6T VRX due out in a few months. Failing that they could have offered the 1.4T with the same 148hp that it is offered with in the Astra, Mokka etc.

I too am just waiting for mine to arrive. Been waiting 12 long weeks and counting! Dunno how much more suspense I can take! I have also gone for the LE 1.0t, even though I've not driven it I've heard nothing but good things about it.
