So just been to the rescue of my niece and her MATE they were on the way home from work when she clipped a kerb resulting in a hole in the tyre so gunk no use air machine no good not in as so well and truly Marroned so off I trot to the rescue in the wife's corsa c :D that one's got a good old fashioned jack and spare wheel but when I arrive the locking wheeling is at home so the moral of the story is buy a Jack buy a spare wheel and carry the bloody locking bolt in the car :x

Oh no! I hope they get home in the end, did you have to go all the way home for the locking nut?

Her dad turned up wanted to drive it home tyre had it anyway got about 200 yards before realising he was going to destroy the alloy so parked it up and national tyres were sorting it today the last I heard still locking for wheelbolt

bugger! I must get my winter tyres sorted out so I can use one as a spare!
