Did the airbags not deploy? Looks a bit odd for that amount of damage and no visible bags?

Hope everyone is ok.

Absolutely. There must be some official body to alert.

If the impact came from the rear, airbags will not deploy, also in modern cars (I believe the corsa should be one of them) some type of airbags won't deploy if the seat is unoccupied. In this case, if there was only the driver in the car, the passenger side wouldn't deploy since its unoccupied.

It has a big dent in the front which at some point, maybe a secondary impact, means rapid reverse acceleration which means smacking your head on the screen. I would want mine to go off

I have opened a case with Vauxhall and they want to inspect the car so I will see what comes of that.

Details of the crash are. Stationary car on the inside lane as my daughter came up to it she braked hard and almost came to a stand still when she was hit very heavily from the rear which shunted her into the stationary car

You should at no point be able to hit your head against the windscreen when wearing your seatbelt. From what I can see from the picture, thats more like an oblique rather than a frontal impact, which could explain why the airbag didn't go off.
Modern airbags are not a simple on/off piece of kit, ie there is a whole algorithm which decides if to fire or not...
