I sometimes fine mine too sensitive! You might or might not be aware, but you can adjust the sensitivity on the stalk. There's like a wheel you can turn.

If that don't work is the screen clean where the sensor is?

Thanks for your time to reply. Yes, it's on highest setting and the screen is has been just cleaned. In light rain the wipers wiped only after 1 minute when my screen was covered with drops. My husband thinks it's fine and I just need to do one extra wipe every now and then. But it's a new car and I want to find out if it's normal. I only had cars with intermittent wiping before and those always worked just fine.

Its poor. You are right. Try some wax polish over the sensor to increase bead size.

I hate the things...thank god the Corsa has normal intermittent...
Our Insignia has rain sensitive and are really hit and miss....pass a truck on the motorway and they go so fast the car leans from side to side..

Maybe your Corsa. Mine only has rain sensitive unless there is a way to turn on intermittent. Maybe if the sight and light pack is not fitted you only get intermittent.

They do only come on the sight and light pack which our Corsa doesn't have but the Insignia does....

Do they put the lights on after 5 sweeps on the Corsa?

The headlights are logically linked to the wipers but I havent worked out how. Basically if it rains the headlights come on.

I've only had my 2015 5dr SE a couple days. But it's been raining most of the time!!!

I too have noticed that most of the time the sensor is perfectly fine except when it isn't then I have to nudge it on. I have to do that more than I was expecting it to. It is however much better than the Toyota Yaris equivalent I was driving in between cars. That took forever to decide to work, I tended to just put it on manually.

Thanks you for your replies. I only had the car for a few weeks and I'm still getting used to it I guess. Yes, today I was just doing an extra wipe when I needed it and I'm trying to make my peace with it. I will try the waxing and Rainx though, I think they might also help.
