Turbo flutter, anyone managed it?

Post by gator » Sat Jul 25, 2020 9:26 pm

Been looking round on the web tonight for a dual port blow off valve that would fit on a 1.4T, as I'm lead to believe this is the safe way to achieve that 'flutter' sound many people are fond of.

Has anyone achieved this on their car, or perhaps have some insight on how I could achieve in on mine?

Edit: I've already fitted an induction kit so i have the WHOOOSH

You have to stop the air from recirculating to achieve flutter.

I have this valve https://blow-off.pl/dv/diverter-valve-t ... properfekt
Original valve sounds better with an open filter, but this one can be easily plugged (the original is membrane and plastic which doesn't make it durable). You just unscrew the top and put something else instead of the spring to stop the piston from opening which will result in flutter.

This is what it should sound like
