Yes, mine is the same, stupidly stiff. I struggle to shift the things let alone my wife and kids. I just thought it was due to lack of use. My Corsa is used mostly by me only so don't often need to use back seats.

Think it's just the typical corsa build quality shining through there mate  mines ridiculously stiff too, my friends never know how to use it when they get in the car.

The catch is very stiff to lift on mine, previous owner has put lashings of grease over all moving parts so could not improve that.
However my grandson discovered you have to lean on the seat backwards before you can lift the latch easily. The natural thing is to lift the catch as you pull forward, now that we have learned to do the opposite, it is a bit more easy!

Never had any issues with mine, quite the opposite tbh, parked on an incline the seat slides back, and that's a nuisance when you're trying to get a car seat in! What really annoys me is the limited travel the seat moves forward, barely enough space to slide a carseat in between the pillar and the back of the seat

There's a technical service bulletin from GM about this 'problem'. It's just really is simple as two overtightened nuts in the mechanism.

Has anyone tried untightening the bolts, has that worked? Both my seats are super stiff to the point where I have to physically "hit" them to move back into position, scared Im going to break them. Any updates on how to fix? Ive email Vauxhall with no response.
