Front Grille Replacement

Post by jtcameron » Thu Jul 23, 2020 6:57 pm

Hello,

About 6 months ago I noticed that the chrome paint has started to peel off and crack on my Front Grille. I'm assuming it'll be just as cheap to replace it as opposed to geting it painted.

Therefore, has anybody done this before? How easy is it to take the original grille off? Is it easy to take the logo off and put it on the new one? Do I need to take the bumper off? Do I need any specific tools?

Any advice is appreciated!! I did try YouTube first but I couldn't find a video

Cheers,
James

You can get new one on Ebay for £80

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Genuine- ... Swpaxe62o-

Should come with fitting instructions but check with seller

Hello,

Thank you for your reply. Do you know if I can do it without having to take the bumper off? I think the official instructions say you should but others have said you don't need to. I am slightly confused.

Cheers,
James
