MODS!

Post by Livie » Thu Apr 05, 2018 7:29 pm

Hi All,

I have recently got myself a 1.2 limited edition (Coby) and am looking to mod it up. I have seen quite a lot of modded Corsa D's but not so many Corsa E's. So far I've just changed the front lights to whiter ones. I am looking to do the number plate and interior lights next. I also changed the dash to one with red trim.

Did anyone have any suggestions of mods I could do please? Preferably ones that won't hit my insurance too hard, but I'm not that fussy. Let me know what you've done to your cars and what works well.

Cheers!

Livie

I'd do the rest of the bulbs to make it look a bit more modern...
-LED reverse light
-Silver coated front/rear indicator bulbs (not sure how easy the front ones are to get at/change, says dealer only in manual  )
-LED side repeaters like these here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fits-Vauxhal ... SwuShaf3Xr

Could look at some Team HEKO wind deflectors too.

Not so insurance friendly but a 30mm drop on Eibach springs and a subtle exhaust/back box to make it sit better and sound a little better.

Hey Matt, they all sound great! What are your opinions on a front splitter and painted brake callipers?

Splitters look good, but if you lower the car I'd imagine it get smashed to bits after a while. Painted callipers can look good IF you give them a proper clean and use good high temp paint, otherwise it flakes/chips off after a while and looks scruffy.

Ah true that, I will probably pick between the lowering springs and splitter then don't want to leave half the car on a speed bump, and good tip on the callipers thanks :)

See

for front indicators.

You need to gave the light units on thr bench and drill out the blanming panels.
