Reduced power warning

Post by GER » Tue Feb 13, 2018 8:09 pm

I bought a new Corsa 1.4 six month ago from the main Vauxhall dealers yesterday I had driven 3 miles from home and turned from a T Junction onto the main A46 all of a sudden I had reduced power showing on my dash and I had hardly any power, I tried turning the engine over, nothing happened I dipped the clutch and managed to cruise to a lay-by, thank goodness nothing was coming and I wasn’t over taking.
The AA man came, still under warranty from Vauxhall, they have now replaced something to do with the throttle pedal and I collect it tomorrow, it has left me very scared to trust the car again.
Has anyone had this, and it be totally resolved?

I had the same problem. Coming off the motorway, doing 60mpg it came on. no power limping round the roundabout. new throttle peddle fitted and not a problem since. not an experience I want to repeat.
