I worried that my all black Corsa looked a bit mid-life-crisis-y but, like wearing a good well fitting suit, it makes you feel good! Go for it :)

Cheaper that a VXR
Didn't have £15k cash to get a Golf
Fair enough I do really like the new golf, I want something bigger after the vxr had to many hatchs now

I drive past my favourite car everyday to work and found out it’s a women ( looks) in her 50s driving it. It’s a 2015 civic type r in grey and he husband has a Jaguar F type. I don’t think anybody’s too old to own a fast car but maybe she thought where it’s common with the younger crowd. I’ve seen plenty older people then me in vxr and RS type r or Megan’s cup.

It's not the style or power that puts us off, its the bone hard seats and springs.

I found the recaro seats in the VXR I had a few years ago quite comfortable, I'd argue more so than the normal seats! They actually hold you in place properly.

The suspension was firm but it wasn't crashy but I suppose it depends what you're used to.

For me I prefer something that corners a bit more flat and you feel like you can push on a bit more with it. Normal suspension tends to pretty much give up as soon as you give it a tight corner at any sort of speed and often has more body roll than the titanic.
