MKIII or MKIV

Post by Wendymc » Sat Sep 15, 2018 10:15 pm

Hi, I wonder if anyone could help please?
I need to buy new glass for my wing mirror after someone smashed it when it was parked outside. I'm trying to source glass and eBay is asking if it's a MKIII or MKIV. I can't find anywhere in my paperwork which tells me this info. It's a Corsa SE 1229 CC petrol 5 door October 2014. Are there any more details needed? If anyone could help I'd be very grateful. TIA 😀

Do you have a picture of it? Late 2014 was where the E model was launched to supersede the D model

Can I ask what is probably a really silly question? Are the wing mirrors heated do you know please?

Depends on the trim level of the car.
I don't know how the British cars are equipped, but i guess the SE is a fairly equipped trim level?

My Corsa D SE had heated mirrors. If you are sticki g on a Halfords replacement it doesnt make any difference.
Good luck with the MOT on Oct 2nd. Dont forget to have 4 good wheels this time.

Just pop the heated rear window on for a bit and the gently touch the mirror glass...if heated it will be warm..

Also if possible it's best to try to cover your number plate if you post pics on forums..it can help stop cloning and sarcastic comments about your mot history
