I have a second owner 2018 1.4 6 speed Auto. Great car but we live near a steep hill and going up or down, lower gears 2800-3000 rpm there's a lot of exhaust resonance. Garage couldn't find anything, is this by design or a problem?
OK, now My Vauxhall is up and running again I found a bit more about my vehicle. Seems the new car owner complained about "over revving" twice, soon after purchase. I believe this was exhaust resonance, only 3000rpm hardly "over revving". They probably exchanged it a couple of months later for a Ford. The previous Corsa D 4speed auto had an anti-resonance tube on the air inlet, across the top of the radiator. Any one know if this might help.
