Went for 1.4T petrol 100PS

I spent a lot of time researching diesel vs gasoline (this was before Dieselgate), and I concluded that for my low amount of driving it had to be gasoline.

Then I spent another eternity researching what makes a gasoline engine 'feel good', while having a low enough fuel consumption and still be snappy on the occasional summer rip. Over many, many car makes with different trim levels and engines, I finally found my perfect balance in the corsa 100Ps -Turbo.

Just wish it had available an automatic gear box >.<

I'm one of the few on here with the 1.2 from a few years ago.

Being a new driver it doesn't bother me all that much to be honest, the main reason i got the one i have are the extras, Forward Collision Alert, Front and rear parking sensors, Blind Spot Assist etc. though it doesn't have city mode, not that i care anyway, the steering is super light as it is anyway.

Apparently it was an ex-demo car according to the dealer.

it is actually rather quiet, i get more road noise in the cabin than i do engine noise, unless I'm at like 5500 - 6000rpm for whatever reason. then the engine is noticeable, obviously.

whether it will last 20 years, idk, it is a GM car after all :P :P

I had a 1300 Cavalier and you couldn't hear or feel the engine at traffic lights.
My neighbour has a Y reg Corsa. used every day. Only just changed the battery last year and no repairs. Unbelievable, but then she's a gentle woman driver.
