Mods I've made to my 2017 Silver Corsa VX Line

So it's been a few weeks since I purchased my VX Line and have added a few little treats to the car as suggested on here (all for under £120).

- Wind deflectors on the front and rear windows
- Personalised number plates (inc personalisation at the bottom of the plate)
- Replaced aerial with a short stumpy stalk one (now gets better reception)
- Chrome foot pedals (second hand)
- LED footwell and rear footwell lights
- Interior white LED bulbs (front and rear)
- White rear number plate bulbs
- White front headlight and full beam bulbs (still need to do the front fogs)

I've also purchased some rear window privacy/sun shades to act as rear tints (cheaper than actually getting them tinted and I can remove them too) - which are due to arrive from Vauxhall this week - currently 30% off from Vauxhall Accessories.

I wanted to add some subtle mods but nothing to turn the car into a tacky mess. Thoughts?

It's very pretty
You could do a little tutorial on how you put the front and rear foot lights, I would like to do it in my opel corsa.
Thank you.
The footwell lights are simply one of these kits: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4X-Car-Interior-9-LED-RGB-color-Strip-Light-Atmosphere-Remote-Decor-Contral-Lamp/323335717013?_trkparms=aid%3D333200%26algo%3DCOMP.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20190212114623%26meid%3Dad63d9df01b4488799c6afda771af308%26pid%3D100011%26rk%3D5%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D183813484664%26itm%3D323335717013%26pg%3D2047675&_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850

I got the USB version as I have one of these which allows me to run my dashcam, my Satnav and the LED lights at the same time: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dual-USB-Car-LCD-Cigarette-Lighter-Socket-Splitter-DC-12V-Charger-Power-Adapter/333267822649?hash=item4d984f6839&_trkparms=ispr%3D1&enc=AQAEAAADQKvsXIZtBqdkfsZsMtzFbFsbX3WcW5fmB%2Fx7ZbaZTyexvMM%2BM8QZtQyVfmDLo686DcBjuaAM4Pq6R7AbkeVtVBpBypSL8Uu19FcBeySq76ceEG4gcf2qgYrdSiwlJYrNNEAmdyUKDW3GAF8YaAFL66NFWeg9Pcqt3%2BiKdDlpVmw0L1sIQ%2FTNJJbAuU2u1Mxz3fLqfcjSn4REayw%2B11AfcfvEINtPyidOUPu%2BnxmfNZ4gmjeBOAwSmOgcBbIVSqSyxwKf7UsUn9C55tpj1bLzmB46AQd1huhK4PseO5zCVtEwGyqxbXj2GooMQQRHPBH3oZkgGDaOft%2FvEOZCeO6QvqepN0%2FHi8tUHsruGT444Tcn7mvjsM5cmubo8Ya3dzKHtB17F%2FVAcuDibsHl1wQ42ELQNMCH%2F9xghgGjPxTQzmEh1sjq8kZwL92rjglw1r%2Bd8y7Tq8XrDBAYeS8nTkXn%2Fy1phMDJ6iE2RlVwYlwYN7SaQ2WxD0UatCnyjj0xB7K0W9YuFQ3xTE%2B%2F0ojCpxRl0JqgVTn7H5Z392Hj%2FKwKLKC%2B06DUAeD%2FJ%2BsgIXdd46psHDxuS9fqE6FzQMKNPoPfDJDIvjZamjX0xLVHlR%2BDKX%2FBe0mCnr377h88djfiuXXYgni4o0QOXR1rWFT3MRvnDBzQ3wSNvXKRai4VmNNPx32ctbttEk0JCW8pXkf8kzrUvCE9Xsahgf8fsHMnDNyDB1gtAsNpze6NzloOas7mRixc6IZfMlG8nG6%2BVhxIkBLjxbwZxvVCXKkal5XemcUJy5b2WKS6nhAuXGlYMHytoMW1p%2BaNE%2BK47Uoj19jeoRatMQIeR72hnZUtKWKEIUrFX1VToei3a8ORAYKfxOhIJmg45xVz7942lpkYuOsbLDIJCWF1eHzPkyEYwHJB%2FMwXDtaGdMlzT%2FVXUe8wugkAEYASOJkqvyn%2FpjXBmBRj2vfvPQPcxKwUVtWZFw%2BIdEcqw8uaL0tYXk%2F1jOKk4eNQZlNc1LAq%2FUF3SNby7ILCB1%2BGO2O%2BkiafMgxXPVjtf7VuH2orSylbrP1rgzA1J1BqwSFOvAQgP1ODqEmVIVO%2Bck5GCiLmtcTTVbWrvyabOeejNsQ%3D&checksum=333267822649915d0b71b3c54bb6a99fd52eb018202b

1. Run the USB cable along the plastic trim under the passenger side footwell.
2. Plug it into the adaptor (which you can tuck away in the gap between the cabin filter area and trim).
3. Push the first LED strip on one of the short cables behind the radio console area (there's a small hole next to where the cabin filter sits) so it pops through to the drivers side. Cable tie underneath the footwell.
4. Mount the second LED strip under the passenger side footwell under the glove box, once again using cable ties.
5. Run the two LED strips with the longer cables between the carpet and the centre console and stick to the bottom of the front seat runners (not in the channel itself but along the sides of both driver and passenger).
6. Turn on and test. Took me 20 minutes.

Note to switch the light colours with the remote, you'll need to point the remote at the passenger side footwell.

Gotta say your car is looking awesome :D

I'm planning on doing the LED strips to mine tomorrow and that mini-guide you wrote is really going to come in handy.

As for suggestions for mods, this isn't much of a mod but consider getting some new wiper blades (if your old ones aren't perfect).

Sounds daft but I fitted some Bosch Aerotwins (AP26U & AP16U) today and bloody hell, they're better than what I had beforehand, no smears or screaming sounds, smooth as silk.

Another boring yet practical mod is a dashcam. they don't cost much these days (unless you want them to) and it means if things go wrong you've got footage, it also means if something hilarious happens you have footage.

Whats lights did you use for the headlights and number plate?

Also what did you use for the rear interior led lights and what did you do with the metal shielding?
For headlights (and full beams as they take the same bulbs): https://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/car-parts/car-electrics-and-car-lighting/lighting1/car-bulb/?971775521&1&cc5_847

Rear interior light bulbs (bulb type Xenon): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/T10-501-W5W-XENON-HIGH-POWER-SIDE-LIGHT-BULBS-ERROR-FREE-CANBUS-WEDGE-CAR-12V/382842240577?_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item59232cfe41:m:mYKedpCK-0VluZg0Gi52loQ

Don't understand about the metal shielding?

Thanks. :) Do post some pics of the finished LED lights. Did you buy them from eBay?

Funny enough I discovered my passenger side wiper blade had split/perished in the middle. I had a spare set of Bosch Aerotwin wipers which I never used on my old Corsa D, so popped them both on today.

I also already have a Dashcam but am going to be upgrading to a rearview mirror type with front and back cameras (only have a front facing one at the mo).
