Picking up my 66reg Corsa SRi ECOFlex tomorrow, however, I've since noticed that it's only 75bhp. I know this is quite low for a 1.4l, is anyone aware of the maximum potential gains for this with a remap? As a lot of the reg searches on the websites don't seem to show it, or they show conflicting information. Thanks
A rule of thumb is that it's not worth remapping N/A engines, however this one is a software restricted version of the 100bhp version.
So go ahead and get a remap for you car, you are gonna see at least 25bhp increase in power.
Well then your local remapping company don't know what the heck they are talking about.
As i wrote in my previous comment, as a rule of thumb it is not worth remapping N/A engines, however both the 75bhp and the 90bhp engines are software restricted versions of the 100bhp engine.
