Corsa E modifications

Post by ElliotB » Sat Jul 21, 2018 3:26 pm

Hi guys,

I’ve just recently bought a 2016 Vauxhall Corsa Limited Edition Vvt 75, 1398CC Petrol, 3DR, Manual and I absolutely love it. I am in the process of adding some exterior modifications to it to make it look a bit more unique but there is just one thing playing on my mind.

Often I’m left wishing it had a bit more power (not considerably to justify a new car) but when I come, out of say a roundabout, I just feel that it doesn’t pick up speed enough. I am not a boy racer and always obide by the law, but it’s just agonising when I try and pull away and the car just doesn’t seem to pick speed up.

I’m just after some advice on whether it’s justified to modify the internal parts and/or what I would need to do in order to it change without wearing the engine down.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

A ramair induction kit will help with acceleration and also mpg. Its not too expensive looking at around £50 easy to fit too

The 1.4 N/A engines are restricted by software. Get a remap and you will see circa 100PS.
