smashed wing mirror glass

Post by liverpaul » Thu Aug 02, 2018 8:07 am

hi

so my partner took the car to see her friend and they went out for few hours in her friends car leaving ours on her drive. they came back to both mirrors pushed in. her neighbour came out and said a group of 15 people where going around hitting cars and when she put them back open the driver's was shatterd and scratched the window and the other has popped out of place. we got told halfords do them for £15 but when we got there and checked the book it went upto 2014. we asked for help and they said itll fit  took his advice as he looked confident and it didnt it falls shot by half a centimetre. it cost £12 so no biggie to me just later when i have time ill replace it completely, so anybody who has the same issue .... it dosnt quite fit, its same design just tiny bit small

Yes i bought a replacement mirror from ebay which was advertised as fitting D and E corsa's and it turned out to be a bit smaller than the original.
