Vauxhall dealer wants £145 for the part 13305805, which includes the pedal and £50 to fit plus VAT = £234
Does anyone know where I can buy the part cheaper so I can fit it myself.

Hi All,

I've been reading through your experiences, I have a Lime Green Corsa E SRi VX-Line, I absolutely love it....or should I say loved...past tense. I bought it as an ex demo and only just a year old.

So history...
April 18, car went into limp mode throwing a warning saying power to engine is reduced...called RAC they followed me to the nearest Vauxhall garage. The throttle sensor had to be replaced....luckily under warranty.

June 18, gear linkage snapped and car wouldn't go into reverse, luckily again fixed under warranty...then they released the button connector had broken, so that was also replaced.

November 18, limp mode again, error said it was to do with the accelerator as the sensor had already been replaced they replaced the pedal/body...good to go....right? Wrong!

Xmas Eve, had to be recovered on a flat bed truck, limp mode again. As they'd replaced all of the above they said it needed a software update...I had to pay for the pleasure. So I thought ok so that should be it now....nope

This week, limp mode again...not even enough power to get it on the recovery truck...it had to be winched on. So they've investigated it again...it has thrown up exactly the same errors as before but they know these parts have been replaced so now they are replacing the ECU.

Have I just been unlucky?? Or has anyone had this level of problem? If really appreciate any feedback at all....I absolutely love my car...but I'm close to wanting/needing to sell it as I need a reliable car

Stac

You need quite a bit of luck when it comes to owning cars, seems like you are having a bad run

In two years of ownership with mine only had to replace the throttle body and a few Intelilink flashes (all under warranty) otherwise can't complain.

Manufactures warranty runs out this month so will see how I fair from now on

Luckily I bought extended warranty when I bought the car, manufacturers warranty has now run out and I'm into the extended warranty. But the dealership I bought the car from has had to seek contribution from Vauxhall and they're stumping up the rest.
They've been great to be honest but I'm losing confidence In the car....it's only 3years and 3 months old and spent at least a week in the garage every few months.
The throttle sensor was the first thing to go on my car back in April last year...when did yours happen ?

my 2013 Diseasal kept having power issues last year, straight after service and MOT where they sold me and engine and fuel flush... i reckon in dislodged some crap in the system... 5 visits, resets, software updates, turbo sensor... i told them to sort iy once and for all... needed a new ECU... cost £900+vat... thankfully back then you got known for life warranty!

Did that resolve the issue?
Thankfully you didn't have to pay for that  the dealership have replaced mine at their expense...I am really hoping it sorts it as I love my car and don't want to have to get rid of it :(
