New to this place so HI EVERYONE - picked up my new (but used 16 plate corsa) last friday and love it!!

Now my question is the warranty that came with it from new runs out end of May and im trying to decide if worth paying to extend warranty for another 2 years or if it just waste of money?

Never had such new car so now im like i dont know if better to have these things or not (hoping as newish wont have nay big problems but then little voice says but you never know)

I bought a Network Q warranted Corsa D nearly five years ago which turned out to have been a Driving School car (1 year old and 12,000 miles). I was glad of the warranty then because after only 150 miles, the brake pads were grinding on the discs. So new pads and discs under the warranty. Other than that it was a nice little runner (though I had to wonder about the thoroughness of the Network Q pre inspection. It might be worth checking the condition of wearing parts like brakes and clutch etc before coming to a decision about extending the warranty (though in reality an extended warranty would only cover the engine and not wearable, replaceable parts).

Warranty would also cover the inevitable coil pack failure too...! Although this is honestly one of the easiest fixes in the world!

I have a 2015 1.4 SE that, aside from the coil pack failing just out of warranty has been perfect in the time I've had it (Feb 2018 - 22K miles - Now at 40K!)
2015 5DR Corsa 1.4 (90) SE + All the extras except R4.0 :(

It will only be a waste of money if you normally use garages for repairs and nothing goes wrong with your car
