Tyre pressure warning light on

Post by Mason » Sun Nov 10, 2019 10:10 pm

Hi all could anyone help me please...

Ive had my 2016 corsa energy since July with no problems but recently my tyre pressure light came on indicating my back driver side tyre pressure was 26psi. I filled it up at a petrol station air machine to 37 psi and the light went out. The next day the same tyre said 24 psi again, which made me think i mite have a slow puncture but the tyre was solid and the air machine was saying my pressure was 37 psi still.

Iv been to 3 different petrol station air machines now and they all say my pressure is 37psi but the car is saying 26 it also drops to around 24 psi when im driving. Its on the correct setting for the tyre weight and im getting the warning message every time i start the engine and the orange light on dash.

Any help appreciated

It's probably a faulty TPMS sensor or the TPMS sensor needs re-calibrating. You'd probably be best taking it into a local tyre places they will probably be able to re-calibrate it and if they can't then replace it.

I also had tyre pressure warnings as others on this forum.
