"Engine Power Reduced" Please help.

Hi guys

The problem I have is, that I get this message on my centre dash "Engine power reduced" and the engine management light stays on, and the car feels sluggish, I've had this twice now, I used the car the other day and it was fine, no engine management light. what could this be ? Maybe a sensor? Am not sure, has anyone experienced this?

I'm taking the car back to Vauxhall for them to look at this problem.

Could be anything.

In my case it was faulty throttle sensor which required new accelerator pedal unit
