Installing cobra exhaust although not road legal?

Post by Ross98 » Sun Mar 22, 2020 5:59 pm

Hey all,

Quick question, the cobra venom range rear exhaust pipe, it states on their website it’s very loud and not for road use. I see everyone recommending it though, and wondered how people have it and tell their insurance? Surely they wouldn’t accept it? I’d love to instal it if it works out and doesn’t void insurance?

Cheers!

I doubt many bother telling their insurance....

There are thousands of cars with incorrect number plates, plates in the windscreen, window tints too dark,Hid lights etc...

How they get an M.O.T baffles me...

They get through because they know a guy..

Colleague of mine, his brother got a Golf with an Audi S3 engine in it. Failed on emissions against original VW motor. Guy puts testing equipment in a Corsa or something similar and suddenly passed on emissions.
