Corsa E 1.3 CDTI Won't Start

Post by hd_cyp » Wed Jun 17, 2020 4:38 pm

Hi guys,

I am new to the forum. I live in Cyprus. I have bought a 2015 1.3 CDTI Corsa E on November 2019 which was came from UK.

Now I have some problems with that car and I need help if anyone faced with these problems.

Here is the story. First, my technician did some arrangements in ECU (before remove DPF phisically) 2 weeks ago. He said drive the car and see if something will happen.

Then car will start to show me Service ESC and Traction light will come on. I keep driving the car for couple days and let my techician know about that fault. He said to me to bring the car to him to read the codes. He put the OBD and connected to ECU and erased the error.

After couple of days suddenly I got Engine Power Reduced error along with Service ESC then car shut down itself. I tried to start the engine but no luck. It didn't start at all.

Now we are trying to communicate with ECU but we can't read it. It says U0100 error. So we lost communication with ECU.

Can anyone give me any advice about solving this issue.

Thanks

So basically your technician removed the DPF and fiddled about the ECU to compensate for this as it would cause issues

Now it looks as a result of the attempted reprogramming of the ECU has caused further problems resulting in ECU no longer working

Only solution is to send the ECU to someone who knows what they are doing and refit the DPF and leave things alone
