1.0 turbo overheating

Hello,has anyone come across the engine overheating,because the cooling fan is not coming on?thanks

Are you sure it's overheating...what does the dash say..

Ours never comes on even on the hottest days stuck in traffic..because it's an all Aluminium engine it just dissipates the heat hence why it takes an age to get hot air from the heater in winter...

The coolant system pressurises,and blows the radiator hose off,i have replaced the fan control module,radiator,temp sensor switch,thermomstat,engine temp sensor, but still no further.

Have you tested for head Gasket failure?

Also there's something different about the water pump on these engines,it's not your normal run of the mill one but i can't remember what it is..
Might be worth investigating...

Hello it has been tested for hydro carbons in the coolant,that was ok,i have another water pump on its way,other than that there is nothing else,thanks
