Hi guys had my corsa 3 days now and absolut let lovely so much better than the previous everything is renowned.

There is nothing that I dislike about it just the odd thing here and there to get used to I suppose like on the speedometer the 30mph dash blends in so you have to pay close attention to it, it's the same with 70mph.

At the moment I'm using my speed limiter to make sure I don't go over the limits which is handy. When I test drove a corsa e it had a digital display of speed just wondering if anyone knows how to get it up on the dash?

Cheers sam

I think the multi function trip computer is only on certain trim levels, for example, it is standard on an LE but not available on Excite. Don't know why all trim levels couldn't have it though. I use my mpg average reading pretty much daily in my Ibiza.

Hi Sam, I got the Multi-Function trip computer on the New Corsa SE & use all the time for monitoring the speed, but as LeachiE states its only on certain models ? these according to the 2015 Edition (1) Hand Out are: SRi, SRi VX-Line and SE.

Probably more trouble than it's worth. If you've got the hardware someone on here has unlocked a load of features but that was on a car already spec'd with the more advanced trip features. Does your indicator stalk have a menu button on it? If not I think your going to struggle to retro fit it.

You need opel-scanner interfejs and program AutoScannerOpelCan. See this YT video...
More info http://www.opel-scanner.com
Its either that or a very friendly Vauxhall dealer who will do it for free... no that wont happen. You could ask if they would activate the digital speedo as part of the next service. Even if they charge a fiver it may be worth it, given the shite analogue version with the missing 30mph mark.

I picked up my Corsa E Energy on Monday. Mine has the Digital Speedo...however I was surprised that in 2008 the range and fuel consumption wasn't.

Luckily from a quick google I find this forum and found a post about Opel Scanner, I purchased one and manage to turn on the Average Speed, Average Consumption, Instant Consumption, Outside Temperature, Coolant Temperature, Battery Voltage, Overspeed Chime and also the Eco Tab which shows fuel consumption history over the last 30 miles.

For the Opel Scanner bundle which is for the ODBII Reader and the Opel Scanner Software it was ÂŁ189.00 from https://www.gendan.co.uk/product_OPELSCAN.html

The only other legitimate option without going to a Dealer or paying for the GM MDI at cost of a few grand is the VAUX-COM but that's about ÂŁ700

So I saw it as being a bargain.
