It's not really a corsa though is it just a rebadged 208, and what's happened to the heated front windscreen?

 

I think it maybe a grower. A lot of people didn't like the Corsa E when it first came out.

The interior is definitely a lot more modern. The outgoing Corsa E is based on the Corsa D hull which goes back to 2007 so really does show it's age in areas.

I would imagine the new one is a lot more refined at speed and probably more comfortable for motorway work.

For me, it's a shame the choice of engines is a bit crap at the moment. I would want something 150-180bhp like a sort of warm hatch.
I'm not sure what the 1.2 Turbo would remap to, but I doubt it will be as good as the outgoing 1.4 Turbo was in terms of potential.
The loss of the heated front screen is also a bit crap.

So I don't think I would be rushing out to change mine. I will probably move away from Vauxhall for my next car.

To be honest Peugeot have rushed this car into production and not thought much through, if you look at all the previous generation Corsa's they've all been an upgraded version of the previous model, this new model is basically taking some of the styling from the old and throwing everything else out, which is a massive shame. I shall be keeping my Corsa for a while yet, but I won't be buying another Corsa.
