I did the:
  • Turn Off
  • Turn ON
  • Hold Power and Right Skip Button

It DID NOT work because I was on DAB Radio.

Make sure you're in FM Radio mode and not DAB

As soon as I tried it in FM Radio mode I heard static through the speakers.
I switch back to DAB and "Hey Presto!"

Hope this helps!
Just chiming in with a thanks! Helped out a great deal.

Hi
I have read a lot of these posts on how to get audio sound but unable to do any of them. I have been given a Corsa as courtesy car,, and there is no sound at all. I can not even get a station, even on FM. So cannot even get a skip option. Any advice would be helpful. No manual with the car. Very frustrating.

Thank you , thank you, thank you! I was not looking forward to arguing with the dealer!!
Same happened to my 16 plate Corsa. Just tried your recommendation and it works again.
Brilliant thank you

I had the same issue this weekend where no sound was coming out of radio and whilst phone would ring I could not hear caller. Thank goodness I found this forum and took the invaluable advice about disconnecting negative on battery, which thankfully did rectify the problem.

Out of interest I phoned my local Vauxhall dealer where I purchased the car today to ask if they knew of a quick fix. I was told that I would need to book the car in, they would carry out diagnostics costing £89.50 yes eighty nine pounds and fifty pence. They would then identify the fault and give me a price for putting it right.

Thank goodness for forums such as this. Many thanks to those that saved me a lot of money - well done.

so my mrs had this problem on her Corsa se 2016.
it did not play any sound from the aux cable Bluetooth or radio however it still beeped and could play sound for the parking sensors,
i disconnected the negative connection to the battery with a 10mm socket left it for 5 minutes and then reconnected.
it no works

Hi all,
I had the very same problem about half a year ago now so im not too sure i remember how it got fixed in all accuracy, but i took it to a dealership i bought it from and i was helped by one of the VX staff members, what he did to fix the problem was turn off the system competely by holding down the power button then switching it back on again then he held down the skip button right or left (sorry cant really remember) for around 10-15 secs, apparently it was a sort of hard reset and the music instantly started playing again from the radio. -Ben
Thanks, this has worked for me. 😊

Hi there I tried this a couple times now, still doesn’t want to work, sometimes when I come back to my car and start it up it works however it the audio stops soon after also I have no indicator noise, is there any other fix or do I have to go to he dealers. Many thanks

Corsa 1.4 Limited Edition (66 plate) same fault
Intermittently losing sound would sometimes take 10/15 mins to regain but would cut out after 30 seconds ( including indicators)
Tried factory reset in the menus - still nothing
Disconnected the battery for a few hours - nothing
Read that the battery life could have been a cause (mine was 6 years old) - changed but no joy
Started looking into wiring looms and plug behind the dash but very reluctant to start doing that before trying everything so checked here

Tried the power button and right skip button hold (on FM radio) for 15 seconds and it worked for 12 hours then failed again

I did read that leaving memory sticks or something connected to the USB port on start up could potentially cause these issues but not always.

Ill keep trying and let you know the outcome

My 66 plate Corsa radio done a update at the weekend and then no sounds coming from the speakers or using the handfree, but you can hear that your touching the radio on the screen. My partner disconnected the battery and waited 10 mins and then the sounds are coming out the speaker now :) .... It this a common thing with the update? X
